Drive-In Shows

I would like to suggest some form of Drive-In Film Theatre, much like the Drive-In Movies in the USA. This could either be set up on an existing car park or perhaps even a field in good weather.

Many people say that film and cinema are a dying trade, but I would pay good money to be able to watch a film in this way.

Showings could be charged per car so if you had a couple of passengers, rates would not be too high, but ensure a fair profit for the industry.

I am not aware of any other UK city that has this sort of thing but I think if organised in the right way it could become colossal success.

Why the contribution is important

This initiative would once again make Bristol unique and contribute substantially to our culture industry.

I think its a great idea! If managed right then it will create more visitors to the city and push that Bristol is a cultured city which represents the old and new.
