Clean in the corners!

On the whole Bristol is quite clean - but there are grubby corners that spoil the city. It would be good to identify where the 'corners' are and clean them up. I've seen a drinking fountain that is obviously very old and it's in a terrible state, alleyways, alcoves and areas missed by street cleaning. Also, a campaign to stop people spitting would help - yuk!
Why the contribution is important
My idea is important because dirty areas spoil the environment of the city, are unpleasant for people to look at and attract further mess and dirt. Cleaning these areas will improve the overall appearance of the city and potentially reduce health risks - especially if spitting can be stopped. A lot of people visit the city, work in the city or live here - we all have to look at the grubby corners as we walk by and they can be miserable to look at.
