bike gutter on the College Green/Canons Road steps

On the sets of steps from College Green to Canon's Road, a gutter (the best word I can think of, there may be a technical term) at the side of each flight of steps would cut out the need to carry or bump bikes up and down the steps, without obstructing pedestrians.
Why the contribution is important
This is a good shortcut from Park Street to Canons Marsh or the other side of the river - but the steps make it hard for a cyclist. It would link existing bike routes more easily

Great idea! Wouldnt cost that much. Actually if this doesnt win any money I expect Cycling City would consider it...
